Why can’t I add the payment method? It says mine is invalid. plase help me! Thank you all.

I want to buy an app on Apple store but I just can’t add the payment method. It says my payment method is invalid. Please help me out. Thank you so much!

How are you trying to add the card, on an iOS device or a computer's iTunes ? If an iOS device have you tried using your computer's iTunes instead, or tried a different card ?
