Quick Start Setup not working

I am trying to transfer over all my settings and apps from my 5s to SE. I was able to get the quick setup started (take photo of the blue dots from one phone to the other, and input other phone's pin.) But then the phone starts going through a "Demo Setup" and says that it cannot connect to server. Then the whole process ends and it never asks for my Apple ID or password. Can someone please help me get past this?

iPhone SE, iOS 11.2.1

Hi jdold,

I understand that when trying to use Quick Start to transfer the content from your iPhone 5s to the iPhone SE, you are sent through a "Demo Setup" then you get the error that it "cannot connect to server" and the process never completes. I can certainly understand the concern. Let's see what we can do.
Are you running the latest update on the iPhone 5s? If so, then I would recommend that you restart both devices and then attempt the transfer again. The following article has the steps listed for reference:
