getting siri to always say hello when activated by hey siri

with one of the previous ios versions, siri provided a text base preference as to how to answer, which on occasion worked so I press Home and I would hear "how can i help master" (ego I guess) would not happen every time I activated it , about once every 4 or 5 times, I can't remember which ios, but I was thinking maybe 8 but I know my 5s had to press home and only respond to hey siri if plugged in

I was just thinking about that remembering i had asked about a ball game result.

I would like to suggest some form of immediate reply besides the ding. It's in many folks nature I think when hailing someone, to expect some audible reply. In a car it is hard to hear the ding at times and to fight that little urge to look at the screen to see if the app has responded (I guess one could always do the leggo Batman hail I just read about)
