I unwittingly installed MS Excel 365 via an update. Now it appears that I will have to pay to access my excel files. How do I undo this and go back to using MS Excel 2008?

I unwittingly installed MS Excel 365 by clicking on an update. It appears that I will now have to subscribe in order to use Excel in the future. Can this be undone. I have been using MS Office 2008 and am just fine with it.

Don't buy a subscription and go back to using your 2008 Office apps. Delete the Office 365 you installed. This won't affect your other Office programs.
