How do I recover photos from idisk?

Does the old computer still work? And can it still see the local copy of the iDisk?

Then copy the contents to a USB thumb drive and transfer them to your new Mac on the stick.

The iDisk on Apple's servers is gone.

do it over five years ago before iDisk was discontinued - iDisk and its contents are long gone

Apple discontinued MobileMe on 30 June 2012 and iDisk was no longer available.
