There would appear to be a general issue burning from iTunes 12.7.2.x for Windows.
A workaround is to uninstall iTunes then download and install one of the following as appropriate:
I expect it will be fixed in the next release.

Which task ? Did you my method or you went back to the previous Itunes version ?
Having the same error on both desktop (Windows 10) and laptop (Windows 7). Agree with honeybadger619, issue is with ITunes update to 12.7.2.60. No error prior to that update.
Can I do this without losing my playlists?
Yes will not hurt your playlist as it will be save when you delete itunes and it will reload it again when you dl itunes iTunes 12.7.1.14 for Windows (64-bit)or 32 bit
I think it depends on exactly what you're trying to burn, e.g. purchased vs. ripped media. Either way reverting to 12.7.1.14 works around the issue until Apple get out a new version.

You're welcome. 🙂

Can you please give the steps to this.
Thanx, but it didn't work for me didn't find the 12.7.1.14 Uninstalled and reinstalled but saw no option to change the number .
Thank you so much, I am not recording cd's again, I uninstalled and click on your link (in Blue) and reinstalled and it worked Yeah!
Windows Media Player can burn songs purchased on Itunes. Try drag and drop and it should work even better then using WMP.
It depends on which version of WMP you're talking about and what codecs are installed. That's why I said "may not".

Follow tt2 suggestion is the best uninstall itunes and reinstall the lower one( uninstall itunes and reinstall by click on the link on his page) it works. I am now recording just like before
Perhaps iTunes 12.7.2.x is taking too long to switch between the two decoders and the write buffer runs out of data before the burn completes. That would certainly cause an error.

If I uninstall iTunes will I loose my library?
Uninstall itunes and click on tt2's post and reinstall it worked for me.
