Trying to burn a music cd and i get and error code error 0x80004005. Do you known why. It is on on laptop running windows10

There would appear to be a general issue burning from iTunes 12.7.2.x for Windows.
A workaround is to uninstall iTunes then download and install one of the following as appropriate:
I expect it will be fixed in the next release.

Uninstall itunes and click on tt2's post and reinstall it worked for me. No you won't lose anything.
Has anyone tried the lasted update?

I had this issue too. I found that choosing data disc worked, rather than audio cd.
Cancel what I said before - the data discs won't play in my car!!
I am going to try the Windows Media Player solution....
Windows Media Player (WMP) worked but without titles, uninstalled itunes and reinstalled( click on the post of tt2 for info) uninstalled and clicked on his post to reinstalled.

I just had an itunes update (1/24/18) and can now burn cd's again
New update today has fixed the problem; just ripped a fat cd! Woo!
