iPhone 8 back screen

Just noticed brand new phone has large crack under the glass on back of phone. The glass is still smooth but cracked underneath. How can this happen (not been dropped)? How can this be repaired? The phone was bought outright. Thanks.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or contact Apple using the Contact Support link at the top right of every page of these forums.


Based on a lot of experience with cell phones, that looks very much as if there was impact to the corner of the phone. But, only Apple can tell you what they will do.
