I have iPod classic 160GB and the screen has frozen on apple logo.
It won't detect in my iTunes or Disk mode.

I also run all the test SDRAM quickscan. All the test were Pass. So there is no problem with the HDD or any buttons or connections. when I exit that screen it asks me to go to www.apple.com/support/ipod and then shuts down.
This is a very last resort solution:
You might not like this solution, but it has worked for me a lot of old iPods (with click wheels).
If you tap the iPod slightly while it is booting up, sometimes it's enough get the hard drive to behave.
