How To Rename Bluetooth Devices On An iPhone 7S+

I understand how to change the name of a Bluetooth device residing on my iMac, but how do you change Bluetooth device names directly on an iPhone 7S+? I have ten+ Bluetooth devices listed within my phone Bluetooth Settings! Although I know what the devices are with their demented names, I would prefer to update the device with a more appealing name.

I look forward to your reply and technical suggestions.

Very easy to do once you know how to do it. Just learned a week ago myself, perhaps it just recently became available with the latest iOS update.

Anyways, Make sure Bluetooth device is CONNECTED to the iPhone. Then go to Bluetooth list and click on the connected device by clicking on on the little “i” that has a circle around on it (I’m assuming that stands for information) and click on the name of the device and it will allow you to edit it.
