Ever Since I updated to iOS 11.2.1 my messages do not show in correct order Ive tried restart manually setting time and 24hr time. Nothing seems to fix this issue driving me nuts constantly missing text because overlooking. They are showing as if they were received before other messages. Common Apple your killing me how can I keep speaking so highly of you when lately you've been letting me down.

No unfortunately nothing I have tried has worked. Driving me insane hopefully they fix this vwith next update. I believe its related to the seconds in the tome settings in the code. It seems that if it is a message recieved within same minute they get placed together but seconds arent written in.

Nope, sorry, didn't work for me. Messages remain out of order.
It's been pointed out many times that those steps don't work and are at most a temporary workaround.
This fixes it for all prior messages, but then it continues to be an issue. I have had to use this fix MANY TIMES.
It only worked for a little while and then it went right back to doing the same thing.
Just updated to the 11.2.6 and it fixed the problem initially. We'll see how long that lasts though!! 🙂

Yup, didn't last too long, as I suspected!! A couple days, at best.
The hold the home button/power button until the Apple logo fix also worked for me. The resetting the date/time as mentioned earlier did not work for me.
Does not work for iPhone X - it still changes the time.
That's merely the availability of various Apple services, it has nothing to do with their performance.
I have had this problem for months now and ITS SO FRUSTRATING! I’ve tried everything and nothing fixes it
This problem has gotten much more persistent , I have tried like 8 workarounds but nothing works. Boo Apple.
Oddly, this absolutely worked for me where the other methods failed. I have no clue why...
