apple music on android system

Hello

I have a very large I-Tunes Music Library with lots of playlists. It's installed on a Windows-pc

Recently, I installed Apple Music on my Android Smartphone. At the moment I have the free 3months version

I have one problem in Apple Music : I cannot import playlists & music from my I-Tunes Library

Using I-Cloud is no option, as I only have 5Gb in the cloud and my Music Library is about 128Gb...

Actually, I would like to do the following :

1) copy a selection of playlists and the music from that playlist to the 64Gb SD-card in my Android-phone

2) import these playlists to Apple Music

Doing so, I am not limited to the 5Gb Cloud-space I have

And as my SD-Card is large enough, I have no problem with it being almost fully loaded with music

But is this possible ?

* In which folder I put the music files ?

* How can I copy the music from 1 playlist directly out of I-Tunes onto the SD-card ?

* In which folder I put the I-Tunes Library file which contains the playlist-info

A lot of questions, I know...

It would be great if someone could help me out with this

Thank you very much in advance !!!

David

* All of the Apple Music features are there... Just like the iOS app, Apple Music for Android is full of musical recommendations, human-curated playlists and radio. ... You can download songs, playlists and full albums for offline listening when you don't have a connection.

* How to download content to listen to offline. ... Then, in the Music app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch; in iTunes on your Mac or PC; or in the Apple Music app on your Android phone, find the item that you want to download, and follow these steps: On your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Android phone: Tap Download.

* Make sure your phone has Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) or later. To check your Android version, go to Apps > Settings > About device. Get the Apple Music app from Google Play. Know your Apple ID, which is the account that you use with all Apple services such as the iTunes Store or App Store.

I hope this helps! If not, you can get help by using the TS live chat. I highly recommend it!

Hi,

I am still confused. I have itunes and a library of bought music and ripped music from CDs on my pc. My family have ipods and iphines and are authorised to use the account. But:

1. How do I upload my itunes content to the icloud. I don't get that I have purchased material waiting for me to download in the cloud but I can see how to upload.

2. How do access my icloud in android. I have already downloaded the apple music app to my Pixel phone. But it asks me to sign up to a paid service which I don't want to do. I just want to access my already paid for music in my itunes account without using a third party app. I have not contacted my phone to my pc yet as Google didn't think to supply a USB C adapter which I now have to buy, which is also why I wanted to go to the cloud route. BTW I dont use apple's email system.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hello fcb4life,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are using Apple Music on your Android phone and you would to be able to access music you have in iTunes on your Windows computer. To do this, you can turn on Apple Music and iCloud Music Library in iTunes on your Windows computer, which doesn't use the 5GB of iCloud storage. Please look at the steps in these resources to start this process and get your music across your devices.

Access your music collection on all of your devices with Apple Music
Turn on iCloud Music Library

Cheers!
