After I have replied to an email using the Mail app the email conversation just appears as a black box. If I then double click to actually open up the email it's still just a black box.

"Recalibrating" the display has been reported to fix it: (Apple menu) > Displays > Color > Calibrate... Try that.

What happens if you open a new window?
Mail > File > New Window.
Quit Mail. Launch Mail and test.

it's fine. They only appear black if I forward or reply to the original email.
My email show as black??
