iPad mini 4 iOS 11 issue
I have an issue with my iOS 11. My iPad mini 4 keeps doing this all the time. this issue gets corrected if I power off and the restart, but after a whil, the problem keeps coming back!

Yeah there’s a glitch with the dock. Some suspect that it may have something to do with onscreen advertising..I’ve noticed ads that air in portrait (taller than they are wide) tend to mess up the dock.
There’s nothing wrong with your device per se, just a glitch with iOS11.
You can do the reboot to see if you can get it back when it acts up until there is a fix issued, probably in an iOS update.
