Remove Enhanced by Google Search Bar

A search bar that I don't recognise has come onto my screen and I cannot remove it. I think it may be spyware. The wording says 'Enhanced by Google'

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Yes this sounds like a browser hijacker.

Following the advice here - Remove MyWay Search from Mac OS X and Windows Should help
