cancel of CD burn

I am suddenly having issues burning CDs...put in blank disc, starts to initialize, then states "canceling burn" and "an unknown error has occured"...this only started happening after I updated my version of iTunes...what do I do?

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to burn CD's in iTunes on your Mac, as you get "an unknown error has occurred" message. To help with your issue, please follow the relevant steps in this resource on your issue with burning CD's.

You can figure out if unexpected behavior is related to a user file or setting by trying to reproduce the issue from another user account. This process includes creating a new user account, logging in to it, and testing for the issue.
