My apple tv when I try to click on menu, a little white box a appears, and when I try to click on anything including settings it won't let me.

Hi. You may have enabled the Accessibility Zoom function. Try clicking three times on the remote touchpad to turn it off. If this is it, you should review Settings > General > Accessibility, to be sure it's configured the way you want.
