Is there a way to put my MacBook (High Sierra) on airplane mode?

I've never brought my laptop on a flight with me and I'll be flying out in 3 months. I wanted to know if I can put it on airplane mode or something equivalent. Will turning the wifi off suffice?

MacBook, macOS High Sierra (10.13)

Hello norathebibliophile.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

If I'm understanding correctly, you are wondering if your MacBook has the Airplane mode setting. Great question, and I will be happy to help. The MacBook does not have Airplane Mode, however as you mentioned, turning off Wi-Fi while on your flight is the best step to stop this type of wireless communication. Additionally you can also turn off Bluetooth while in flight as well.

Cheers.
