Trying to Connect to Non-Existent Server

Recently a QNAP NAS containing my music (for streaming to a music renderer) stopped working. As a result I disconnected the NAS and uninstalled all QNAP software. However, my iMac is still trying to find it so i get the attached pop up message appearing again and again (both on start-up but also occasionally whilst the iMac is in use)…

I have deleted all seemingly relevant login items in keychain, but alas the message keeps on appearing. I cannot ascertain why. Help would be most appreciated

I know many have had this issue, and there are some comprehensive answers in the forum, but I'm quickly out of my comfort zone with some of them so I'm hoping an easy fix is available.

I have been advised to run an EtreCheck Report, but I don't seem to be able to attach it to this post. I can attempt again to do so if it would be helpful.

Mac OS was designed from it's very onset to be EXTREMELY secure and does not require ANY third party "maintenance" apps such as Antivirus, Cleaning or any other utilities. Your iMac has CleanMyMac which is considered malware by experienced users and something called SecureMac. Both are 100% unnecessary and likely the cause of your problems. Locate the uninstall process recommended by the developers of each product and uninstall immediately. Then restart in Safe Mode to clear some caches and then restart normally and test.
