I read that a MacBook Air doesn't need its battery calibrated but it seems like mine needs to as it suddenly turns off at 5-10% battery.
I recently did never charge it up completely and then got the battery empty - that may be the reason why.
(How) should I recalibrate the battery in my MacBook Air (Early '15)?

Calibration is not required.
Do NOT deplete the battery to such low levels.
You can charge the battery at any time, for any amount of time.
You can use it while it is charging.
You can leave it connected to the charging circuit after the abttery reaches 100%.
But what about it turning off at 10% battery? It doesn't safely shut down, the screen just goes black, sometimes it even comes back for a short time and then goes back to black. It looks like the battery isn't delivering enough energy at this point but the computer doesn't really notice this.
