Yesterday, I updated my iPad. Today, when I tried to open a Pages file, the system affirmed that I have to update Pages. Unfortunately it seems impossible for me to do that, because in Apple store there is not the option of downloading of a new version...
What can I do?

thank you, really. Anyhow, the problem seems to be the fact that my hardware is too old. All the apps by Apple (Pages, Numbers ecc.) cannot be downloaded for the same reason...

Hi. Which iOS version are you running? Settings > General > About > Version.
Do you see Pages when you open the App Store and tap on Updates at the bottom?
Do you have any restrictions? Settings > General > Restrictions.
If you have an IPad Pro, any IPad Pro can be upgraded/updated to the latest iOS 11 version and therefore, get the latest version of Apple Pages.
