My Apple ID in Portugal

Have relocated to Portugal and cannot log with my current Apple ID to my account to purchase online and when I tried to create a new ID for Portugal, was unable to use my current email, which is the only one I use on a daily basis.

You need to change the store associated with your Apple ID.


Region - Change your iTunes Store, iBooks Store, or App Store country or region

If your e-mail address was associated with the ID in any way, for example as a Reachable at or Rescue e-mail address, then it can't be reused with another Apple ID for approximately one year. You will need to get another e-mail address to use as your Apple ID.
