Why does High Sierra not support the Century font? Century is used by the Supreme Court and the Solicitor General. http://www.ca7.uscourts.gov/forms/type.pdf See p. 4. Century has been included for years. Some of my pdf files now appear distorted. Word will allow Century, but it is not on the pull-down menu. I have to type in Century. I get error messages opening Word files that use Century.

That makes sense, but bold Century looked fine in Preview before the upgrade to High Sierra but not after the upgrade.

That's possible. I would suggest finding a free copy of Century Bold rather than struggling without it.
Good idea. I think I'm going to "solve" my problem by using Baskerville rather than Century. But Century Bold should make existing PDFs look better.
