What to do with my ipad mini 1st generation?

I bought the iPad mini 1st generation during its first released way back 2012. It is so precious to me back then. But now, it's a paperweight.

Yes, I can still use it with some old apps (that are still supporting the last ios for ipad mini 1) but I'm disappointed at how slow it is now. And I can't do new stuff since those new apps are not in compatible anymore.

I can't even sell it. I want to but, will someone still buy it at a fair price? I got it on its original price.

So guys, do you have any recommendation on what to do with it? Any update I can use? I am more into gaming actually. So, if I can make use of my ipad mini 1 in a good performance, I'd be happier. (actually, I got two. one for me, and for my wife)
