Final Cut Pro accomplishments

I'm trying to explain to my high school students why we use FCP. They want to know what TV shows it is used to edit.
I have found a couple but but can't find a compelling list. I have a list of films from Wik, but they want TV shows they've heard of. Help please!

Don’t forget to tell your students that they don’t even need a teacher…I’ve taught FCP to myself *. With that, and one camera, I’ve just finished my first 30 minute documentary. Sure, it might not live up to the technical standards that these experienced folks adhere to everyday. But it’s good enough to run on the documentary channel in the near future. And, I guarantee you the next one will be better!

Long story short… They do need a teacher. One that will teach them they need to dream and work, work and dream. Heck, don’t even let them use FCP. Make ‘em storyboard and write scripts for the first semester.

*Of course I had help from these wonderful, albeit sometimes grumpy folks. Thanks everybody!

When the pool of good KNOWN editors are gone, they advertise there, and craigslist, and mandy.com.

Which is why it's a good selling point when talking to students . . . . if they're interested in teh jobs market.
