Safari Amazon Pop Up

I keep getting this stupid amazon $1000 gift card pop up almost every time I use safari now. It’s on reputable sites so I don’t understand why it keeps happening. I have my pop up blocker on and I’ve even tried clearing my browser data but it keeps happening. And I have to completely close out of the window and shut safari down to get it to go away. Does my phone have a virus? Is that even possible?

If the pop-up reloads, force quit Safari (command - option/alt - esc) and reopen with the shift key held down. If that doesn't work, disconnect from the Internet, go to Safari/History and delete the website. Quit and reopen with the shift key held down. Then reconnect to the Internet.

So many people have this happening... it's not a pop up...people offer solutions like clearing your cache or your cookies but it doesn't last long if at all... one person did say to disable javascript under advanced safari settings... under settings... I'm going to try that. You do it for a day or so and turn it back on... so annoying.
