Syncing iPad Pro with MacBook Pro

Will my iPad Pro sync with my MacBook Pro when both are in sleep mode?

iPad Pro Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 11.2.2, iPad Pro (12.9 inch)

An iPad doesn't really have a sleep mode. It can be powered off entirely, on but screen locked, or open. It should sync unless it's powered off entirely.

Your MacBook Pro should sync while sleeping if "Power Nap" is enabled. (That's two settings: one when on the power adapter, one when running on battery.) Without Power Nap, maybe not.

Hi,

DomPlayz. If your syncing your iPad Pro to your MacBook Pro you will want to FIRST use a Apple Inc. charger/cord to plus your iPad Pro into your MacBook Pro. Then SECOND you will want to UNLOCK your iPad Pro, so that you can verify that its ok for your iPad Pro can be synced to your MacBook Pro. Then THIRD you will want to go onto ITUNES so that you can SYNC your iPad Pro to your MacBook Pro. It will take a while, so be alerted. Thanks!

Sincerely,

DomPlayz.
