How can I split a song using iTunes?
How can I split a music track into two separate tracks? I see how I can adjust the start and stop times on a track, but what is the next step after that?
You could use File > Convert > Create {Format} Version which makes a new copy of the shortened track. With lossy codecs you'll also lose a bit more quality. You should be able to find freeware tools to chop and splice without reconverting the audio. What format is the source file?
