Start row with 0 in Numbers

How do I change how the rows in Numbers are numbered. I want the title (Row 1) to be zero. I've not used Numbers much and I did search for info on this and found this link.

But I clearly don't understand it because I get a zero in A1. I want the numbering of the rows to go like so:

4


Does that link method work for anyone? If so can you explain it to me?

You can't change the row numbers built into Numbers. But you can put numbers in the leftmost column starting with 0, using the formula


=ROW()-1


Entered in A1 and filled down the column.
