how to I change my setting on my iPad 5G so I can actually use my third party Bluetooth mouse

Has anyone successfully connected a third-party Bluetooth mouse to their iPad and saw the cursor on the iPad after it was connected. I can get it connected but I can not see the curser. I called Apple they could not help with third-party products so I called Logitech and they said as long as I have IOS 10 and higher it is compatible...BUT I can's see the cursor! I was told it is in my settings but I seriously need some advice where to look! Thanks

iPad (5th gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 11.2.5

There is no mouse cursor to control on an iPad at all. Whoever said it was compatible was mistaken. iPads have never supported mice.

The system requirements for the mouse you mention do not include iOS in any way shape or form as expected.

The Apps I mentioned are Remote Desktop Apps mentioned in the link above.

Remotix VNC, RDP & NEAR on the App Store

Jump Desktop (RDP, VNC, Fluid) on the App Store

A supported mouse can be used with these Apps to control remote computers.

Outside of these Apps, there is no mouse support on iOS.
