I am trying to import photos from my iPhone 6 to Photos on my iMac Retina 4K running High Sierra 10.13.2. Some photos imported OK but none of my videos and many of my photos failed due to the following error message - com.apple.ImageCaptureCore error - 9937.
Can anyone suggest what the problem is and any solution. All the photos and videos were taken in Australia in the last month.

I don't know what the problem is but have you tried a hard reset on the phone (and reboot your Mac) to see if that helps?
If it doesn't have you tried AirDrop?
While it may sound trite to say switch it off and on again (a bit like an Engineer saying use a bigger hammer), hard resets on the iPhone cured an awful lot of issues I've had with the things!
Pity it's happening with Image Capture - I've found that to be a very robust and useful app.

I am sure you mean well but I thought the days of "have you tried switching it off and on again" were gone with the IT Crowd. Is there anyone out there who can answer my original question.
