I can't drag and drop pictures from Photos to Word Document

Can someone tell me how to drag and drop pictures from Photos to a Word doc.?

I always use iPhoto and I've never had any problems but lately, iPhoto is being glitchy so I decided to give PHOTOS a try but is not letting me drag a picture to insert it into a word document, which is extremely important to me since I use it for work. Thanks!

MS Word is up to date.

Which version of Word and MacOS X do you have? I am currently running Photos 3.0 on macOS 10.13.3.

And since the last update for my Office suit to Word 16.9 I can no longer drag and drop to Word. But copy and paste with ⌘C and ⌘V is still working.

The Photos browser in Word 16.9 is also working well with Photos 3.0. Try the "Insert > Photos > PhotoBrowser"

The word update from Word 15 to 16 seems to have broken the drag and drop.

Larry, You must have a Ph.D. in computer science to be that smart. Sadly, This issue is part that the 1% you left out in your remarks. MS Word is up to date. I have 4 macs that are ALL up to date and have the same issue... MAYBE this is part of the many BUGS apple had been hit lately. I am pretty sure your last textbook did not cover those issues. Anyhow, thank you for trying. Keep participating. By any means I blamed anyone. I just asked a question because I am stuck... iPhoto was a great tool, while Photos is still in development in my humble opinion.
