do ios devices include laptop?

i want to add an app to my macbookair that says good for ios devices only. isn't a Macbookair an ios device?

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2013), iOS 10.3.3

No. iOS devices run the iOS operating system. iOS devices are iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches. Macs, including the MacBook Air run the macOS operating system. 2 different operating systems. And apps for one don't work on the other.


Where did you find this App exactly?


Do the developers have a Mac version?
