Is anybody else experiencing problems when trying to import Canon M6 Raw files into Aperture or Photos? I am using High Sierra Version 10.13.3 and according to this page Von iOS 11 und macOS High Sierra unterstützte RAW-Formate von Digitalkameras - Apple Support it should be supported.
Yet Aperture keeps telling me: Unsupported format. Or do I need to install the full Canon suite here?

Aperture cannot use any of the RAW Support that has been released after macOS 10.12 Sierra came out. Aperture is stuck on the RAW support that has been available up Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update 6.18.
But Photos for Mac should be able to use the RAW files of the M6, because the camera has been supported since Sierra.

Thanks for the information. That is bad to hear. In the meantime I found a workaround, just somebody is interested:
you can use the free Adobe DNG Converter to convert M6 RAWS to DNG which can then be processed normally in Aperture.
