Is it possible to hide movie and tv show purchases on my iPad Pro?

Is it possible to hide movie and TV show purchases on my iPad Pro without syncing to computer? I want to do it directly on the iPad if possible.

iPad Pro Wi-Fi, iOS 11.2.5

Hiding and syncing are two different things, what exactly are you wanting to do with the films and tv programmes ? Are they downloaded and you want to delete them, or only in the cloud and you don’t want them to show in the TV app ? If you want to hide individual films/tv programmes so that they don’t show in the cloud : Hide and unhide apps for your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac - Apple Support

If you want to delete downloaded/synced videos : Settings > General > iPad Storage > Review iTunes Videos

Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - https://support.apple.com/HT208167 - "Hiding an item doesn't hide the record of purchase." It will still appear in your purchase history. Has to be done on a computer through iTunes.

Some of Apple's documentation here is unclear and inconsistent. For example it provides a link for hiding media in iCloud after you delete them from your device, but the link takes you to a page that only mentions doing this with apps (which for me are not media). I have never hidden anything so I don't know the details.

"If you want to keep some purchases private, you can choose to hide individual items." --> Hide apps for your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac - https://support.apple.com/HT201322

Some of Apple's documentation here is unclear and inconsistent. For example it provides a link for hiding media in iCloud after you delete them from your device, but the link takes you to a page that only mentions doing this with apps (which for me are not media). In the music section of Delete music, movies, and TV shows from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support it says "the purchase will hide from your purchase history." However, when you follow the link from that to Hide apps for your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac - Apple Support (which, by the way, only talks about apps and not music), at the bottom it says, "Hiding an item doesn't hide the record of the purchase. You can view your purchase history to see details of your purchases." That strikes me as contradictory. 😕
