When you leave your vehicle, your iPhone disconnects from Bluetooth, which lets Maps mark the location of your car. To edit your car's location, open Maps and tap
or add a photo of where you parked.
Unpair a Bluetooth accessory
To unpair a Bluetooth accessory, tap Settings > Bluetooth, find the device you want to unpair, and tap
, then Forget this Device.
When you Forget this Device on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, that accessory is removed from the list of available Bluetooth devices. To add the Bluetooth accessory to your device again, place it back in discovery mode and repeat the steps above to pair it again.
Thanks for your reply. I was ready to do as you suggested but when I went somewhere in the car it picked up location and the parked car icon was back and worked fine. Don’t know what happened. Must have been a glitch.
my parked car location stayed at one of the last places i visited and would not change. even after a week. i had to delete that location ** deleting by parked car. and now the parked car icon is gone. hiw to i get it back?
