12.7.3 iphone sync not working

I recently just upgraded my itunes to 12.7.3 and for some reason it doesn't allow me to sync up with my iphone 6 anymore. In the Itunes app on my pc it doesn't show the phone icon when its connected to my computer . Did the update have anything to do with this. If so is there anyway fix to this. please reply asap
