Why AVX-512 is not available on iMac Pro?

My iMac Pro should support AVX-512 vector instructions, and, indeed, "sysctl machdep.cpu.features" contains: AVX-512F, AVX-512CD, AVX-512BW, AVX-512DQ, AVX-512VL.

So I want to use it in my program, however when I execute a simple AVX-512F instruction, the program gets #UD. AFAIU, it happens because AVX-512 states are not enabled in XCR0.

Why they are not enabled by macOS?

iMac Pro, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3)

It's unlikely anyone here can answer. This is a users for users forum and wouldn't have any better idea of why than you would. Only Apple would know.
