A better way to undo?

The standard way to undo on iOS seems to be to shake your device. This is a very poor way to undo. In many apps, but doesn't seem to work at all.

The feature is also not very smart. Often, after I tap "submit" on a form and place my iPad down, it asks me if I want to undo.It seems there should be a better way to invoke a feature that is so important.

Is there a universal alternative, such as an undo button that you can add to the keyboard?

Seems pretty much the same to me, except for the icon presentation, using each one of the Apps which I previously linked.

Pages: Undo the last action: Tap User uploaded file at the top of the screen. Tap multiple times to undo all your recent actions

Keynote: Undo the last action: Tap User uploaded file. Tap multiple times to undo all your recent actions.

Numbers: Undo the last action: Tap User uploaded file. Tap multiple times to undo all your recent actions.

What "form," or App are you referring to?
