Some keys not working after battery replacement

I got my battery replaced yesterday on my MBP mid-2012. Now, the HJKL keys are only working intermittently, and I can only get them to work when it is doing this by pressing them with other keys on the keyboard. Does anyone know what could cause this or if there is a solution? Trying to avoid another trip to the Apple store if possible.

Mac Magic keyboard showing 0% even when plugged in Mac Studio Magic keyboard battery level shows 0% charge, but is still functioning plugged in or not. It is plugged to one of the rear Lightening ports. I have tried the front port on the Studio but that does not increase the level of charge above 0%. And yes the slider of the Magic keyboard is in the On position. Any ideas?

If you still have problem, just go back to the Apple Store (I would go anyway).
