Apple 3 watch passcode won't turn off
I can't figure out how to turn off the passcode that I set up when I set up the phone. I went into GENERAL and passcodes but it won't let me turn off the passcode.

Hi
If you are unable to change the passcode settings for your Apple Watch, then passcode restrictions are likely enforced on your iPhone (via a corporate configuration profile, mobile device management or Exchange policy).
Where passcode restrictions are set on a managed iPhone, they also affect Apple Watch.
If your iPhone is managed in this way, then I suggest that you contact your device administrator for further information and help.

Note that, under the latest versions of iOS and watchOS, the passcode setting your Apple Watch is not found via General. It is instead found:
On your iPhone, in the Watch app, via: My Watch (tab) > Passcode.
Or on your Apple Watch: when viewing the time, press the Digital Crown once to access the Home screen > Settings (gear icon) > Passcode.
If you are using a work iPhone, for example, with a configuration profile installed on it by your employer, then that means your employer's IT department.
I decided to reset the watch and to not go with the passcode which went well until I started using my watch and it says a new apple policy is that you need to set up a new passcode on the watch. I will return this watch if I have to use a passcode every time i look at it. Please help.
Apple does not require a passcode to be set for your Apple Watch.
If the issue persists, then I suggest that, in the first instance, you contact the device administrator, if you have one, for your iPhone.
Otherwise, I suggest that you contact Apple Support (remote diagnostics and/or mail-in service may be available, if required), make a Genius Bar reservation or visit an Apple Authorised Service Provider for assistance:
(Note that you are not talking to Apple here - this is a user-based technical support community).
Not sure what you mean by device administrator. Apple or my cell phone provider?
