Water Damage

I dropped my phone in the toilet and got it out in a like 2 seconds. I made the mistake of turning it on and seeing if everything worked. It seemed to be working but then after about 10 minutes the screen was going crazy and I couldn't unlock using finger print and power button didn't work. Unfortunately I wasn't at home or anywhere I could easily have gotten rice, so I didn't have any rice so I couldn't put it in rice for around 7 hours. Once I did it was in the rice for 26 hours or so and kept going to the restart screen. Sometimes it would stop doing the screen and just go black for a few hours. After the 26 hours or so I took it out and plugged it in and it started to turn on. It went to the home screen and notifications started popping up but as soon as I went to type in my password it shut off again. So my question is, has any one had a similar problem and how much did it cost to get their phone fixed?
