Boot Camp Assistant crashed, stuck with ~60GB of unusable space on disk

BCA crashed the first time I ran it, but not until it had resized my OSX partition. I no longer have the available space for running BCA again. I have a 500GB drive, of which the OSX partition takes up 441. There doesn't appear to be another partition in disk utility, but that lost space isn't free space either. When trying to repair or repartition, I get the error:

The provided Core Storage logical volume has an incorrect size. You should run whole-disk repair.

I've done a bit of searching through similar threads, but didn't find any solutions that work for me. Here is the output of some commands from advice given to folks with similar issues:

Without using any external devices, the steps would be

  • Disable FileVault2
  • Revert the CS LV/LVG back to HFS+
  • Merge Recovery HD in Macintosh HD, but this implies Local Recovery will no longer work
  • Install macOS from Internet Recovery, if the version offered is the same as internal disk version, otherwise an external disk is necessary to rebuild local Recovery HD.
