Apple Music downloads done on MacBook not showing up on iPhone

I am a new Apple Music subscriber, so please bear with me....

I just downloaded a bunch of songs off Apple Music using my MacBook. They aren't showing up on my iPhone though. I have iCloud Music Library active on the phone and MacBook.

Any clue what it could be?

Apple Music tracks need to be either streamed or individually downloaded to the iPhone. They can’t be synced from the computer.
