If it wants the Recovery Key, then you will have to see if you wrote it down anywhere, because that is the only way to get it. The ID you are attempting to sign into iCloud is using Two-Step Verification, and the Recovery Key is one of three security components. The components are: Password, Trusted Device, and Recovery Key. You must have at least two of those components in order to sign into your Apple account in order to: reset the password for an ID, add or remove a Trusted Device, or to create a new Recovery Key:
