Importing tiffs into Lightroom

If you are exporting the photos from Photos to import them to LightRoom, and the originals are TIFF files, use the command "File > Export > Export unmodified Original".

To export edited versions, do not use drag-and-drop. That will only save JPEG previews.

The "File > Export > Export .. Photos" dialog for edited versions defaults to "Photo Kind: JPEG", but you can switch the file format to TIFF.

There is no Photos capability to import anything into Lightroom - for Lightroom support you need to contact Adobe support
