Podcast upload error

Hi,

I keep getting errors when trying to submit a podcast to iTunes. First it didn't work at all, but finally I got it done and as you can see below you can find it on iTunes/Podcast app now. But the avatar and episodes didn't come through... does anyone know how to fix this?

Best, Edwin.

I'm getting some conflicting result. The Store page has no episodes, as you say. I assume it did before, and they recently disappeared?

Your feed works when subscribing in iTunes and the top episode downloads and plays.

Podcasts Connect says the feed has already been submitted, as you would expect, but also complains that it cannot download episodes.

The media file URL of your top episode (I've removed the https:// to make the forum display it) is

podcast.npo.nl/file/de-vrijdagavond-met-frank/594.mp3

This redirects to

This plays OK in a browser, as it should. CastFeedValidator reports that byte range support is not supported but plays the file. Testing in Terminal for byte range requests shows it as working for the second URL but it cannot find the first URL, giving a 'file not found' error. When Terminal cannot see a file it often means that the Store and Podcasts Connect can't either, even though iTunes can: I don't know why this would be. Have you made a change to the episode URLs recently?

The media file URLs begin with https (secure connection) - this shouldn't be a problem as Apple specifically recommend doing this.

It may be that the server is not responding to requests from the Store and Terminal - this sort of thing seems to have happened before, though I don't know what causes it. You should take it up with the people running the server.

As to the image, its file size is 535kB which is over the acceptable limit, so it won't show. You need to reduce it to below 500kB.
