Itunes problem

When I drag and drop a folder containing my songs with a specific folder into library and then drag and drop them in to my Iphone X, I notice instead of all songs being in one folder with the name I gave, it kind of splits them into two or three and sometimes as many as there are songs in the folder. I am not sure how to make them all in one folder so that when I play them they all play one after the other instead of manual intervention to keep switching different folder it split them into. Please help. Thanks in advance.
