How to stop CNN pop-ups

They are coming from the News app themselves. I was having the same issue with CNN today and finally had to tell iOS to not show notifications for the News app.

There are at least two places where such Notifications can arise: Settings > Notifications, and Settings > News > Notifications. Check both.

If you installed a CNN or Fox News app (for example) they can also have their own Notifications settings.
