Problem with HIGH SIERRA to make a USB bootable, file of 19 mb

When i download the high sierra file from AppStore, i get a file of 19mb and I need the full file to make the usb Bootable, please i need to solve this problem. Thaks

What computer are you using to download the installer? Usually when you get just the 19MB stub, it’s because a firmware update is needed before High Sierra can be installed. I get that result on my Mac Pro, and have chosen to not risk a glitch in the firmware update process damaging my system just for the sake of stashing a High Sierra installer on it. You should get a warning screen after the 19MB download finishes and launches, telling you that a firmware update is necessary.


I was able to download the full installer on my MacBook Pro.


Is there some particular reason that you feel you need to install High Sierra?
